Understanding the Variables
- Base Salary: The guaranteed fixed income you receive regardless of deal flow. Usually 50% of your OTE.
- Annual Quota: The total amount of booked revenue (ARR) you are expected to close within the fiscal year.
- Commission Rate: The percentage you take home from every deal closed. (e.g. 10% of a $50k deal = $5,000 commission).
